Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead the start-up and activation of clinical research sites across complex studies. You will drive readiness, compliance, and on-time study delivery while coordinating with sponsors, project teams, regulators, and sites.

You will mentor colleagues, manage risks, and help shape best practices to strengthen operational excellence across site activation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical/scientific field or equivalent experience with 4+ years clinical research.
• Minimum 7 years of CRO/pharma experience in start-up/site management.
• Strong leadership, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/EU regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and site activation for assigned studies, ensuring timely completion.
• Be the primary contact for site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical path activities on time and budget.
• Monitor site identification, essential documents, regulatory submissions, and contract progression.
• Assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to keep study delivery on track.
• Track site activation metrics and report progress to sponsors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop site activation plans with project teams and ensure alignment with study requirements.
• Support proposals, budgets, bid defenses, and other business development activities.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers and contribute to SOP improvements.
