Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start‑up and activation of clinical sites across complex studies. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure compliant, on‑time study delivery impacting patient outcomes.

You will drive risk mitigation, mentor teammates, and contribute to continuous process improvements while collaborating with sponsors, regulatory stakeholders, and sites across global time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in life sciences or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in start‑up, project or site management.
• Strong understanding of ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/EU regulations.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to engage sponsors and sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee study start‑up and site activation activities across assigned clinical research projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to complete critical path activities on time and within budget.
• Monitor site identification, qualification, essential document collection, regulatory submissions, and contract progression.
• Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies; escalate issues to support timely delivery.
• Track and communicate site activation metrics and status to sponsors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain site activation plans with project teams, reflecting study requirements and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, bid defense activities, and other business development efforts.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers while advancing SOPs and best practices.
