Job summary

Algolia seeks a senior engineer to own the Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) integration, shaping architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction. You will design, implement, and refine integration components while coordinating with Engineering, Product, and Support teams.

You will also contribute RFCs, drive quality improvements, and help plan roadmaps with effort estimates and improvement opportunities. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• Extensive SFCC experience with SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs and B2C APIs.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including RequireJS, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience integrating external APIs and services.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: automated testing, debugging, and maintainable design.

Responsibilities

• Own SFCC integration architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction.
• Design, develop, and deliver integration improvements.
• Write RFCs and contribute to design decisions.
• Improve quality, reliability, and maintainability of the integration.
• Investigate and resolve complex integration issues with cross-team collaboration.
• Provide input to roadmap planning with estimates and improvement opportunities.
