Job summary

Idlogistics is hiring a Senior Server Administrator for remote work in the US. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing physical and virtual servers, with emphasis on Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.

You will drive reliability, security, and performance across the server stack while mentoring teammates. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in server administration, relevant certifications, and strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science/IT.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in server administration.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator, VMware, or CompTIA Server+ are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Monitor, patch, and upgrade server infrastructure for performance and security.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GC).
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and support configuration management.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and document configurations and procedures.
