Devoted Health is seeking a deeply technical Senior Manager of Security Operations to lead a dynamic Cybersecurity team and mature detection/response engineering for our healthcare platform.

The role is remote with a strong focus on building a high-performing team, guiding incident response, and driving program maturity through metrics and playbooks. Ideal candidates have hands-on leadership and cloud stack experience.

Qualificações

• 10 years of experience in security operations, incl. 3 years leading technical security teams in a highly regulated industry.
• Proven track record of building and maturing security operations programs, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Strong technical foundation in tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, CSPM, and vulnerability scanners; working knowledge of automation in Python/Go.
• Experience leading response to high-severity security incidents and communicating with executives and stakeholders.
• Fundamental knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, GDPR; experience with AI and LLMs to augment security operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of security operations engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
• Own the implementation, operation, and enhancement of security tools (EDR, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanners, email security, etc.).
• Oversee incident response for significant security events, coordinating cross-functional efforts and updating leadership.
• Drive maturity of detection and response programs with metrics, playbooks, and timely handling of alerts.
• Leverage AI and automation to scale impact and reduce response times.
• Partner with engineering/IT to embed security best practices across the organization.
