Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead the architecture of public, private and hybrid clouds, designing secure infrastructure and applications that support business and cybersecurity strategies. The role emphasizes full‑stack security, automation, IaC and cost‑effective solutions.

You will mentor junior team members, collaborate with IT and application development leadership, stay current with evolving cyber trends, and guide secure design, deployment and incident response

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related IT, cloud, and cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable secure public, private, and hybrid clouds.
• Advise Cloud team on secure deployments and configurations.
• Lead security architecture design for SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
• Develop secure design, build, testing and deployment guidance across cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security, architecture and engineering leadership to support business objectives.
• Identify and enforce enterprise standards to support secure, resilient solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge with project teams.
