CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure cloud architecture across public, private, and hybrid environments. You will shape architectures, mentor staff, and collaborate with IT and development leadership to advance security across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Extensive IT, cloud, and cybersecurity experience required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and articulate scalable secure cloud visions (public, private, hybrid).
• Advise Cloud team on secure deployments and configurations.
• Review architecture plans with Enterprise Architecture group.
• Lead security architecture design across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Provide guidance on secure design, build, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with security, architecture and engineering leaders to meet business objectives.
• Enforce enterprise standards for secure, resilient solutions.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for incident resolution.
• Identify risk issues and architect mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Create architecture policies aligned with cybersecurity best practices.
• Draft cybersecurity strategies to comply with regulations (CMMC, NIST).
• Design security for monitoring, logging, IAM, encryption, data protection.
• Ensure configurations aligned and implemented by tech leads.
• Oversee vulnerability management controls.
• Orchestrate scalable containerized microservices.
