Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Managed Services Senior Security Analyst to support secure client environments through active threat hunting, reporting, and consulting. You will act as the first line of escalation for our in-house Security Analysts and collaborate with Security Engineering and MDR teams to deliver high-quality service for clients across a remote Continental US footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or military experience.
• 5+ years IT experience including 2+ years with enterprise Case Management tools.
• 5+ years IT experience including 2+ years with enterprise SIEM tools.
• Experience in MSP/MSSP or MDR environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide team mentorship, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Plan long-term strategies benefiting clients and services.
• Serve as Named Security Analyst for Presidio MDR clients.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation on security activities.
• Analyze security events to identify malicious activity and remediation steps.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to tune security use cases.
• Develop and monitor metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure SOPs and alerting tools are up to date and effective.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of critical events to improve processes.
