Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Senior Security Analyst for Financial Systems to lead advanced security monitoring, risk assessment, and control activities across the GFiT environment. You will partner with application, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure security is embedded from design through operation.

The role requires at least 7 years in IT security, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management or a related field.
• Certifications in compliance or financial systems (GIFS, CISM, CEH, SSCP) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to liaise with security/audit representatives.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Security, Security Operations, IT Audit and/or compliance of financial systems.
• Experience with security/regulatory standards and best practices in financial systems.
• Familiarity with financial systems and security tools.
• Remote role with occasional travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL; candidates preferred in US states FL, GA, TX, NC.

Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring & Incident Management: monitor security alerts and logs, identify trends and threats.
• Investigate complex security events, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate remediation.
• Serve as escalation point for high-risk or cross-functional security issues.
• Risk Assessment & Control Oversight: conduct risk assessments and identify remediation strategies.
• Evaluate security impact of changes, applications, and enhancements.
• Support ITGC and SOX control execution related to security monitoring and incident response.
• Implementation & Change Support: advise on secure design during implementations.
• Review security requirements, designs, and change requests for alignment with standards.
• Audit, Compliance & Documentation: support audits, gather evidence, ensure readiness.
• Continuous Improvement: guide team, refine standards, raise security improvements to leadership.
