Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect - SDDC to lead post-sales data center automation initiatives and migrations.

The role demands hands-on deployment, low-level design, and mentorship across the consulting team, with a focus on VMware VCF, Aria Automation, and NSX. Remote, home-office setup as determined by SHI management. The candidate will collaborate with sales and presales, drive implementations, and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure successful customer

Qualifications

Oversee projects to completion with clear goals and stakeholder satisfaction.
Document and manage technical needs by engaging stakeholders.
Define and maintain robust infrastructure solutions leveraging virtualization.
Write and maintain code to automate tasks and workflows.
Understand virtualization components and orchestration tools for end-to-end solutions.
Develop detailed SOWs and drive revenue through professional services.
Extensive experience on large IT projects involving design, deployment and configuration.

Responsibilities

Perform low-level design and implementation work including architecture analysis and system migration.
Design and implement VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) across Brownfield and Greenfield environments.
Automate environments with SaltStack, Terraform, or Ansible.
Lead technical delivery and mentor other consultants.
Collaborate with sales/presales to scope professional services engagements.
Stay current with industry trends and provide technical leadership in pre/post-sales contexts.
