Job summary

Everforth ECS, in Arlington, VA, seeks a Senior Scrum Master to work remotely on a federal IT modernization initiative. The role requires applying Scrum and Kanban to the Software Delivery Lifecycle in a highly regulated environment, driving efficient deployments during a complex migration to the cloud.

The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile events, coach stakeholders, and guide teams toward continuous delivery with strong metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust suitability.
Minimum of 11 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile events including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement, with an ability to apply both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Lead technical delivery teams through SDLC, including design, development, quality assurance, security, deployment, and sustainment
Oversee the product backlog, ensuring all backlog items meet Scrum practices for intake, definition of ready, refinement, and definition of done
Coach the team to ensure effective requirements gathering, analysis, change management, and continuous delivery with stakeholders
Drive customer feedback through UAT, customer demos, and product owner-led requirements vetting
Collect and analyze Agile metrics to coach the team toward continuous improvement
Convert integrated master schedules into team-level backlogs and maintain synchronization
Contribute to monthly contractual deliverables and program reporting
