Berkeley Research Group (BRG) is seeking a Managing Consultant for Revenue Cycle in Healthcare. The role involves leading engagements across Patient Access, Coding, Denials, and Revenue Integrity to improve financial and operational performance.

The candidate should have 6–8+ years in healthcare revenue cycle or consulting, plus a relevant degree and preferred certifications. Remote USA work with substantial travel (50–80%) and collaboration with executives is expected.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of healthcare industry or consulting experience in Revenue Cycle operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with focus in Management, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
• Industry certifications such as CRCR, CHFP, CHAM, CRCE-I, CRCE-P are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of client engagements across Revenue Cycle areas (Patient Access, HIM/Coding, Charge Capture, Revenue Integrity, Denials/Underpayments, and Patient Financial Services).
• Drive operational and financial improvements by reducing DNFB and A/R days, accelerating cash, increasing insurance verifications, and reducing denials.
• Lead current-state assessments, quantify opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to improve revenue cycle performance.
• Create project charters, workplans, timelines, budgets, realization schedules, benefit trackers, and transition plans.
• Delegate tasks, mentor staff, oversee quality of deliverables, and manage client relationships with senior leadership.
