Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software (SAS preferred).
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts for health care.
• Excellent communication with diverse audiences.
• Mentoring or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Arbor Research projects/ contracts.
• Ability to lead subprojects with minimal intervention.
• Contributions to health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology via publications/reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research development with lead investigators and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to design of analytical approaches for research questions.
• Adhere to analytic and documentation standards with quality and integrity.
• Handle diverse analytical requests, write papers, and perform data analyses for funders and committees.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations.
• Assist authors with tables and figures for written materials.
• Present results to biostatisticians and clinicians, representing Arbor Research.
• Attend meetings and national/international conferences.
• Contribute to writing and proposals for new projects.
• Develop SAS code for analyses and verify coding accuracy.
• Mentor junior analysts and help them execute analyses.
• Lead analytic approaches in consultation with Principal Investigators.
• Demonstrate ongoing skill development and collaboration with external investigators.
