Job summary

Brushfire is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to own two native-style React Native apps, one organizer-facing and one white-label attendee-facing, shipping to iOS and Android. You will handle development, testing, pipeline management, and store releases while shaping a planned platform consolidation.

The ideal candidate thrives on concrete execution, embraces new tooling, and can work independently in a fully remote setting with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with React Native.
• 2+ years of experience submitting and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps in iOS App Store and Google Play.
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 1+ years in agile/scrum with Jira and Shortcut.
• Experience with PubSub databases, specifically Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub actions.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile platform lifecycle from development to store releases.
• Touch the APIs consumed by the apps and contribute to platform consolidation.
• Drive testing, pipelines, and automation for iOS and Android builds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
