Job summary

vCluster Labs is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to own test strategy and end-to-end testing across a fast‑moving codebase. You will build scalable automation frameworks and advocate for testability in design conversations, helping engineering ship daily.

Responsibilities include owning test strategy across services, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and performing exploratory testing to catch edge cases beyond automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA or software testing, with senior or staff-level experience.
• Strong hands-on programming in Go, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
• Experience applying AI-assisted QA workflows to PR reviews, design docs, and test planning.
• Ability to influence product and engineering decisions toward testability.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy and end-to-end testing across services and features.
• Lead design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
