Job summary

OneStream is seeking a Senior Software QA Automation Engineer I to join our fast-growing product team. You will architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using C#, Selenium, and RestSharp, collaborating with developers, PMs, and QA to ensure high-quality software.

The role requires 3+ years programming and 5 years in automation, experience with Azure, CI/CD, and multi-tier architectures, and a strong focus on testability and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or IT-related field.
• 3+ years programming experience.
• 5 years building automation tools for web apps.
• Proficient with C#, Selenium, RestSharp, SQL, Azure, Git.
• Strong object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Azure pipelines and CI/CD.
• Ability to write reusable libraries and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Able to analyze technical issues and influence decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Document solid test cases for complex functionality.
• Strong multi-tier architecture understanding.
• Excellent troubleshooting and client engagement skills.
• Estimating and risk assessment experience.
• Collaborate across scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using C#, Selenium, RestSharp, Appium, and related tech.
• Learn OneStream products to craft automation solutions aligned with product needs.
• Lead automation framework development and CI/CD automation efforts.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and analysts to gather requirements and ensure quality.
• Identify optimization opportunities to improve testing efficiency.
• Ensure high code quality and maintainability of the automation suite.
• Create comprehensive test cases and integrate automation into product quality strategy.
• Investigate automation failures and support production issue resolution.
• Report on test metrics and drive issue resolution with the team.
• Provide expert support for automation-related queries.
• Mentor automation engineers and review peers' code.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and propose mitigations.
• Develop new tools/infrastructure for the QA dept.
