Job summary

Enclipse Corp. in Saint Paul, MN (Remote) seeks a Senior QA Automation Architect/Developer to provide technical leadership for automation within the Eligibility Technology System/SMRT DevOps team.

You will design, build, and modernize automation frameworks, and drive automation initiatives across the software lifecycle. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with developers and analysts, implement CI/CD integration, and develop robust SQL validation to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, developing automated test solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.
• 5+ years developing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium or comparable automation technologies.
• 5+ years designing, developing, or significantly enhancing automation frameworks using object-oriented design principles and reusable framework architecture.
• 3+ years integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
• 5+ years writing SQL queries and performing database validation in support of automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and modernize the enterprise automation framework supporting the State's healthcare eligibility system.
• Provide technical leadership for automation architecture, framework design, coding standards, and automation best practices within the DevOps team.
• Evaluate and modernize existing automation frameworks for better maintainability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and QA staff to define automation strategies and reusable test assets.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, system integration, API, and regression automation suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support automated execution throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor automation engineers through code reviews and framework guidance.
• Develop SQL queries and perform database validation to support automated testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute automation expertise in design discussions.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new automation tools and framework enhancements.
