Job summary

SMART TECH SKILLS LLC is seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives for enterprise healthcare eligibility systems in a remote capacity. You will architect, modernize, and scale automation frameworks, and mentor QA engineers while integrating with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

The role focuses on UI/API/Regression automation, SQL validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience with large-scale enterprise apps is preferred.

7+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions.
5+ years with Java, Selenium, and test automation framework development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, modernize, and maintain enterprise automation frameworks.

The State of Minnesota is seeking a senior-level QA Automation Engineer/Developer to provide technical leadership for enterprise test automation initiatives supporting the Minnesota Eligibility Technology System (METS) and SMRT DevOps teams.

This role will lead automation architecture, framework modernization, CI/CD integration, automated testing strategy, and automation best practices for mission-critical healthcare eligibility systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for improving, scaling, and maintaining enterprise automation frameworks while mentoring team members and supporting ongoing modernization initiatives.

Experience with: IBM Engineering Test Management (ETM), IBM Quality Manager (QM), IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM)
Experience automating: Web Applications, REST APIs, Database Testing
Experience with performance testing initiatives.
Experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
Healthcare, Human Services, Government, or regulated industry experience.
