JBS Dev is seeking a Senior Python Developer to build backend apps, APIs, and AI-enabled software for clients. You will own software lifecycle from design to production, including integrating LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval capabilities in production systems. Remote US-based.

Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders; work on AWS deployment, CI/CD, and performance improvements; strong emphasis on secure authentication and scalable architectures.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices with secure auth.
• Experience deploying on AWS with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.

Mansioni

• Design, build, test, and maintain Python apps, APIs, and microservices.
• Own production software from design to deployment and support.
• Integrate third-party services, databases, and LLMs with secure auth.
• Implement retrieval patterns and vector databases for AI features.
• Build data workflows: JSON parsing and data transformation.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring; troubleshoot production issues.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
