Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex initiatives from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence. You will design, communicate and implement operational plans, monitor progress, and resolve issues with cross-functional teams.

In this remote role, you will coordinate with stakeholders, allocate resources, prepare schedules and budgets, and report status. Occasional travel may be required to Humana offices; a PMP or PMI-ACP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in traditional PM and adaptable or Agile approaches.
• 3+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; manage competing priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a project from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan; monitor progress against the plan.
• Identify, develop, and allocate resources; prepare schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and secure resources; conduct status meetings and reports.
• Begin to influence department strategy and make decisions on complex technical approaches.
