Job summary

Intersect is seeking a senior project execution leader to guide large-scale energy infrastructure from development through commissioning. The role focuses on natural gas-fired generation facilities, HV switchyards, substations, and data center power infrastructure.

You will partner with engineering, construction, commercial, and operations teams to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved with a strong focus on long-term asset value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project execution, construction management, engineering management, or project leadership in power generation/energy infrastructure.
• Experience on Owner's side or EPC contracts in large-scale energy projects.
• Direct experience with natural gas-fired power generation projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to collaboration, accountability, and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans from scope definition to delivery objectives.
• Lead natural gas-fired power generation projects from development through commissioning and operation.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, budget, and operational readiness.
• Facilitate closeout, lessons learned, commissioning support, and turnover to operations.
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Review construction strategies, procurement plans, and execution methodologies.
• Provide clear, actionable updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering teams to review designs, submittals, and construction approaches.
• Support integration of generation assets and data center infrastructure.
• Promote safety culture and regulatory compliance across project lifecycle.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural Engineering or Construction Management
