Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects within the Medicaid state implementations arena. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive program alignment across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes structured planning, stakeholder communication, and proactive risk management. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of project management experience, with hands-on use of MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, and Power BI for reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
Experience using MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet or other project management tools to develop and manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, SAFe, or Prosci Change Management are preferred.
Experience working with business and technology teams in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Experience using PowerBI or other reporting tools for project reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to secure contributions and drive alignment.
Prepare project documentation including requirements, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Identify, acquire, and manage resources including internal staff and external vendors.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
