Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee cross-functional projects spanning clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and business transformation for Medicaid programs.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, align scope and timelines with organizational goals, and drive successful outcomes through collaboration across clinical, operational, technology, and compliance teams. This remote role includes travel and a standard EST workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation through completion.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and PM tools such as MS Planner, MS Project, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours regardless of location.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and successful project outcomes.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics while aligning with business goals.
• Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate governance processes, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and informed decisions.
• Partner with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, vendor, and business leaders to gather requirements and drive alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation and process improvement activities to support operational readiness and adoption of new processes and systems.
• Manage project forecasting, compliance requirements, and adherence to standards and governance practices.
• Leverage project management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
