Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex initiatives from initiation through closure. The role is remote nationwide with a focus on keeping projects on time and within budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

You will design and implement project plans, monitor progress, and address issues to minimize delays. Strong communication, prioritization, and 3+ years of program leadership are required, with PMP/PMI-ACP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in project management and adaptable/Agile approaches.
• 3+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan; monitor progress against plan; resolve issues and delays.
• Prepare designs and work specifications; develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; select materials, equipment, and staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to secure resources and contributions; conduct meetings and prepare status reports.
