Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized leader in enterprise software solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale software implementation projects for international clients. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of global implementations, ensuring successful deployment, user adoption, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, extensive experience managing diverse, distributed teams, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of global enterprise software implementation projects.


• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.


• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for global teams.


• Coordinate and manage geographically dispersed project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.


• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies.


• Ensure seamless integration of software solutions with client's existing systems and infrastructure.


• Manage client relationships, setting clear expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the implementation process.


• Oversee user training and change management activities to promote successful adoption of the software.


• Track project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budget adherence, providing regular and comprehensive status reports to executive stakeholders.


• Champion best practices in project management and software implementation methodologies within a remote setting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 7 years focused on large-scale enterprise software implementations for global clients.


• Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding R10 million.


• Extensive experience with various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).


• Demonstrated success in leading and motivating remote, cross-cultural teams.


• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.


• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and collaboration tools.


• Experience in the enterprise software industry (e.g., ERP, CRM, Cloud solutions) is essential.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote work environment.
