Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead engineering and construction activities for new energy facilities, including wind, solar and BESS projects. You will oversee budgets, schedules and procurement during EPC phases, coordinating design, procurement and construction to meet safety and reliability targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in project engineering/construction, and PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in project development or management.
• Strong oral and written communication, effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Primavera P3, and Thermo-flow GT Pro/GT Master.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• PMP Certification from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for developing design, procurement and construction contracts during project execution phase.
• Directs project engineers and construction site managers to meet milestones safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Negotiation and management of EPC activities.
• Owner's project management across multiple wind, solar and BESS energy projects.
• Leads a team providing technical expertise and project support through design, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Provides periodic updates to senior management on progress and issues.
• Develop a safety-focused culture within project designs and construction.
• Support to plant operations including process improvements and equipment acquisitions.
• Ensure project closing and handover to Operations.
