Job summary

Peterson Power Systems seeks a Project Manager to maximize customer satisfaction and project profitability by ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of complex design/build projects. This role oversees day-to-day activities, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to execute the scope of work sold.

The position involves substantial travel related to large data centers, engineering and construction projects, with a remote work arrangement in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in project management in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Represent Peterson on-site at customer locations during delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment sold.
• Schedule and direct regular meetings with subcontractors and customers to track project progress and items.
• Manage project documents including permits/approvals, payroll, schedules and site safety guidelines.
• Coordinate all project logistics including equipment orders, packaging, shipping, and site services.
• Prepare for and attend project meetings at customer locations, job sites, and Peterson offices.
• Ensure on-site quality control and successful turnover to customers.
• Monitor project financials and invoicing to ensure profitability.
