Job summary

Peterson Power Systems seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead remote-based projects in Texas for large, design/build initiatives. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and field teams, ensure on-time, within-budget delivery, and manage contracts and logistics across locations.

The role requires 5+ years in construction PM, travel 30–50% and strong leadership in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to meet customer goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
• Minimum five years of directly related PM experience in construction.
• Ability to travel 30-50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• On-site presence representing Peterson during delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to fully understand scope and expectations.
• Provide technical support and cost estimates to the sales team as needed.
• Coordinate all project logistics: orders, packaging, shipping, site services.
• Review contract documents for compliance with specifications and terms.
• Use project management software to budget, issue POs and monitor finances.
• Select vendors and issue POs based on quality, pricing and availability.
• Coordinate material deliveries and production scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Lead project meetings with customer locations, job sites and Peterson offices.
• Ensure quality control, coordinate on-site activities and turnover to customer.
• Maintain project documentation and assist field crews as needed.
• Oversee invoicing, progress billing and gross profit projections.
