Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to provide advanced organizational, administrative, and field-level support for construction and maintenance projects with a strong emphasis on health and safety.

This role acts as a liaison between project managers, field safety professionals, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure operations are well-coordinated and compliant with procedures and regulations. Travel to client sites may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role.
• Experience supporting construction project delivery or working in a construction-related environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety and environmental principles, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination support to the field construction health and safety team for construction and maintenance projects.
• Assist Capital Project Management and Facilities Project Management with safety-related tasks during construction phases and planning.
• Lead the organization and facilitation of pre-construction planning meetings and ensure materials/docs are prepared and distributed.
• Maintain and update project schedules, trackers, logs, and documentation related to safety activities, inspections, and contractor compliance.
• Support review of contractor Job Hazard Analyses, Site-Specific Safety Plans, Health and Safety programs, and related submittals.
• Participate in site walks with field safety professionals to document observations and track corrective actions.
• Compile, analyze and report safety metrics; identify trends and improvements.
• Assist with incident investigations by gathering information and preparing reports for client submission.
• Support participation in inspections and meetings with governing entities or insurers as requested.
• Ensure all project documentation aligns with SOPs, MOPs and regulatory requirements.
