Job summary

DEPT is seeking a Senior Account Manager, Programmatic to oversee and optimize programmatic campaigns with media-buying expertise in the retail vertical. You will partner with clients, manage complex campaigns, and mentor Account Managers and Coordinators to drive strong team performance.

Although remote-first, candidates must be located in the Mountain or Pacific time zones. You will lead campaigns across CTV, Display and Video, with exposure to native formats and other channels, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programmatic media experience across CTV, Display and Video; exposure to Native, Audio or OOH.
• Hands-on programmatic trading in retail marketplaces like Walmart, Target and Best Buy.
• Proficient with multiple DSPs (Amazon, TTD, DV360) and familiar with Ad Servers.
• At least 3 years of paid marketing / ecommerce experience.
• Familiarity with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central is required.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a strategic mindset.
• Remote-first company with MT or PT time-zone requirement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client services and programmatic teams to deliver recommendations and day-to-day programmatic expertise.
• Develop & execute digital campaigns from conception to launch across platforms like Amazon (bonus on Walmart/Target).
• Manage and oversee execution and optimization of sponsored campaigns.
• Build and maintain client relationships by sharing performance insights and opportunities.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, strategic thinking, and clear communication in all interactions.
• Act as a proactive self-starter, managing workflows across teams.
• Support development and execution of programmatic strategy to drive performance.
• Provide guidance and light mentorship to Account Managers and Coordinators.
• Champion DEPT core values and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Bring innovative ideas and challenge processes to elevate campaign results.
