Job summary

RW Thrive seeks a Senior Program Manager to connect major technology and software initiatives, translating strategy into measurable results. You will deliver governance, cross‑program coordination, and evidence‑based reporting to leadership from a remote home office, with occasional HQ visits in Wisconsin.

The role requires leading multiple concurrent programs, optimizing resource capacity, and driving delivery excellence to scale the organization.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible experience in technology or enterprise program delivery.
• Experience managing action registers, backlogs, and integrated schedules.
• Proven ability to run release‑readiness or stage‑gate processes with exit criteria.
• Ability to report program status, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership.
• Strong SQL or BI skills to analyze program data.

Responsibilities

• Translate leadership priorities into executable program plans with owners, milestones, and dates.
• Manage integrated delivery schedules across concurrent programs to align with priorities.
• Own the action register as the single source of truth for commitments.
• Lead delivery governance cadence, monitor progress, and escalate risks as needed.
• Define and manage release gates with clear criteria and accountable decision makers.
• Provide portfolio‑level oversight of priorities, risks, and dependencies.
• Assess resource capacity and adjust allocations to support delivery.
• Establish program management standards, tools, and reporting practices.
• Provide guidance to project managers to ensure consistent execution and delivery.
• Coordinate launch readiness and go‑live activities with dependencies managed.
• Develop evidence‑based reporting using SQL, BI tools, and other data sources.
• Continuously improve delivery processes and accountability frameworks.
