Job summary

Oscar is hiring a Senior Specialist, Process Improvement (SIU) to support the Special Investigations Unit across Oscar Insurance. The role focuses on scoping, triaging, investigating, and implementing process improvements with a deep understanding of SIU workflows, data models, and platform logic.

You will report to the Director, SIU, and work remotely from the U.S. with occasional travel for team meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of commensurate experience.
• 2+ years experience in a technical role or process improvement role
• 2+ years experience working with large data sets using Excel or a database language
• 1+ years experience deriving insights from datasets and solving problems

Responsibilities

• Conduct SIU intake, triage, and research to support rapid root cause analysis.
• Identify operational risks and coordinate with leadership to resolve issues.
• Scope, prioritize, and deliver solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
• Translate data insights into detailed business requirements for cross-functional teams.
• Document processes and maintain secure, compliant records.
