Job summary

HKA Enterprises is seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to serve as a Process/Mechanical Engineer Owner's Representative on complex manufacturing facility projects. You will apply your expertise in water, wastewater, process chemical, and mechanical systems within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years of wastewater treatment facilities engineering experience, with focus on waste-system chemistry for semiconductor facilities.
• 3+ years of chemical or mechanical facilities engineering experience, including ultrapure water, chemical and gas distribution, process piping, and related systems.
• 3+ years of engineering design and project-delivery experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, prioritization, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site teams to establish design requirements and advance construction documents for complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure.
• Review specifications, P&IDs, layout drawings, equipment plans, vendor submittals, RFIs, and construction documents.
• Provide engineering oversight for piping and equipment supporting water, wastewater, and process chemical systems.
• Support retrofit projects involving calculations, sizing, selection, construction support, and factory integration.

Education

ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
