The role requires on-site field engagement, real-time data collection, and travel to ethanol plants with about 50% travel, plus visits to Buffalo NY HQ. You will lead design, optimization, and debottlenecking programs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (required).
• 15+ years in process engineering, focusing on distillation, separations, revamps or project engineering.
• Hands-on field experience: surveys, data collection, on-site troubleshooting.
• Deep expertise in distillation, fractionation, mass transfer, and ethanol plant systems.
• Proficiency with process simulation tools: Aspen, PRO/II, ChemCAD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on distillation, separations, heat integration and equipment design.
• Lead field assessments at ethanol facilities and validate real-time data.
• Develop PDPs, revamp scopes, and detailed engineering deliverables.
• Oversee projects from concept to startup with schedule and risk management.
• Mentor engineers and build capability in ethanol process systems.
