Keen Project Solutions is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer Design Lead for ethanol projects in the Kansas City area.

You will direct technical development and cross-functional teams through concept to startup, establishing design basis and equipment specs to deliver safe, constructible, cost-effective facilities. You will mentor staff, coordinate with process, structural, mechanical, electrical, automation, procurement and construction disciplines, and ensure compliance with codes and owner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 15+ years of experience in process or chemical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ethanol facility design and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead ethanol facility design and technical direction.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design teams.
• Develop layouts, process narratives, and drawings.
• Ensure codes, standards, and owner requirements compliance.
• Mentor designers and engineers; drive safety and quality.
• Support project planning, estimating, and execution.
