Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years in senior technical leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML systems and production-scale AI development.
• Proven track record leading hands-on technical experimentation and architecture decisions.
• Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems and observability.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction without direct authority.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed organization with excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set and refine go-forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences.
• Collaborate with VP of Engineering on planning and technical investments.
• Translate goals into concrete roadmaps and measurable design criteria.
• Lead critical design decisions with hands-on coding and prototyping.
• Drive convergence on shared patterns, libraries, and best practices across the group.
• Design migration paths for large, long-lived systems with minimal disruption.
