Job summary

At Atlassian, we’re reimagining teamwork through AI-powered experiences that span Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo. This Senior Principal, AI Product Management (IC) will own the AI vision, lead cross‑functional teams, and deliver elegant, user‑driven features at scale for global customers.

You will shape strategy, mentor PMs, define OKRs, and partner with executives to drive meaningful AI impact. Remote or hybrid options from West Coast US or Australia are supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management with AI focus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to real-world products.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Vision and Roadmap: define end-to-end AI experiences strategy.
• Act as an AI Leader: shape product strategy with an AI lens.
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: partner with engineers, data scientists, design leads.
• Accelerate AI Adoption: integrate AI capabilities into features.
• Drive Alignment: align on vision and execution across products.
• Measure and Iterate: define KR's and use data to improve.
• Champion the Customer: gather feedback from users regularly.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: monitor AI industry trends.
• Mentor and Guide: provide AI expertise to team members.
• Communicate with Impact: articulate product stories to leadership.
