Job summary

Career Collective in Salt Lake City, Utah, seeks a Senior Power Systems Engineer to design and implement complex electrical power systems for data centers, utility-scale projects, and mission-critical facilities. You will lead studies, perform load calculations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

You will work with medium- and high-voltage distribution, BESS, substations, protection and controls, and power system modeling tools; PE license and 10+ years preferred; hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience designing electrical power systems.
• Experience with medium- and high-voltage distribution, protection & controls, and power system studies.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical infrastructure for mission-critical facilities including data centers and utility-scale projects.
• Develop medium- and high-voltage power generation and distribution systems.
• Design and coordinate BESS and generator paralleling systems.
• Develop protection schemes, relay coordination, and control philosophies.
• Lead project teams from planning through construction and provide QA/QC oversight.
