Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead the Application Workstream for a large-scale test environment modernization. The role focuses on transforming legacy, manual environments into automated IaC platforms, improving delivery, testing efficiency, and stability.

The ideal candidate thrives across technical teams, communicates effectively, and drives execution through influence and strong project leadership. This is a remote contract position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Project Management experience in enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience leading application modernization, cloud migration, and platform/infrastructure transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application Workstream PM activities and ensure alignment with program goals.
• Partner with application owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and planning meetings to drive clarity.
• Identify dependencies, migration requirements, and risks across multiple applications.
• Translate technical and business requirements into concrete project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate migration readiness activities across application, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
• Drive execution of milestones, deliverables, and project objectives with disciplined governance.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation processes across teams.
• Track work, dependencies, and deliverables within Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools.
• Support roadmap planning and align with Agile delivery schedules.
• Provide stakeholder communications, reporting, and leadership updates.
• Ensure onboarding of applications into newly developed test environments.
