Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading large IT initiatives.
• Experience managing application development or modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in enterprise environments.
• Experience with managing schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred.
• On-site daily in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex application modernization projects.
• Drive Agile delivery across multiple workstreams (business, development, testing, infra, integration, deployment).
• Manage projects through full SDLC from requirements to production support.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, release planning, sprints, retrospectives, and status reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, leadership, technical teams, vendors, and partners.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to PMO governance and reporting standards.
• Drive change management and stakeholder engagement for modernization.
• Support legacy-to-cloud migration, data conversion, and integration initiatives.
• Prepare executive briefings and project health reporting.
