Job summary

Netorbit Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a senior Project Manager with deep .NET and business analysis experience to lead modernization of legacy systems into web-based applications.

This onsite, long-term staff augmentation role requires 12–15 years of experience and a face-to-face interview. Under the IT Applications Director, the PM/BA will plan, analyze, document, and validate system requirements, translating existing functionality into clear, testable specifications for .NET and SQL solutions.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of legacy system analysis and modernization focus.
• Experience with SDLC for web-based applications.
• Proficient in requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Ability to translate legacy behavior into modern web requirements.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, communication, and consensus building.
• Proven project coordination and task-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute requirements for converting legacy apps to modern web platforms using .NET.
• Analyze legacy system functionality, databases, and workflows to document current-state processes.
• Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for web development.
• Perform gap analysis between current legacy systems and future web solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and database teams to translate requirements into .NET/SQL solutions.
• Support project planning activities, including task tracking, milestones, issues, and risk escalation.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements reviews, and sign-offs.
• Provide ongoing support to development and testing teams by clarifying requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
