Job summary

Faire is seeking a highly experienced technical leader in the data space to guide multiple Platform and Product groups. You’ll define technology strategy, roadmaps, architecture patterns and guidance, balancing technical leadership with hands-on development.

The role sits in Faire’s Platform organization and involves data infrastructure, analytics platform, and governance across teams. Strong SQL/Python, Snowflake, Airflow, Spark experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, operating data streaming, batch, ETL/ELT, orchestration, storage, compute, and workflow systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute on technology projects that scale with Faire’s growth; lead architecture with focus on data integrity, security, performance, scale, reliability, monitoring/alerting.
• Engage with team planning and prioritization, balancing urgent and near‑term needs with long‑term goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on difficult problems including cost-efficient compute/storage, ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingest and warehousing, monitoring, alerting, and governance.
