Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Sr. Clinical Research Associate or Clinical Research Associate II with 1+ years of on-site monitoring experience in the United States. Ideal candidates will have Phase I experience and reside in the U.S.

This role involves on-site monitoring with 40-50% overnight travel and offers a remote work option. You will monitor study sites, support site management per project plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain data integrity in electronic systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• Phase I experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with 40-50% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor study sites including routine monitoring and close-out; maintain study files; conduct initiation visits.
• Coordinate site management per project plans.
• Conduct general on-site monitoring and ensure proper materials for protocol entry.
• Verify informed consent procedures and protocol adherence per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure data integrity on CRFs and other data tools; monitor for missing data.
• Assist with training of new staff and co-monitoring activities.
• Coordinate designated clinical projects as Local Project Coordinator (with supervision).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
