Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Clinical Research Associate with 1+ years of clinical monitoring experience, ideally with Phase I exposure, to join our Florida-based team. The role requires frequent travel and strict adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.

The CRA will monitor sites, manage documentation, and ensure data quality while collaborating with study staff and vendors. A healthcare degree or certification and strong clinical judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in a health-related field or certification required
• Minimum 1+ year clinical monitoring experience
• Phase I experience preferred
• Willingness to travel 40–50% overnight

Responsibilities

• Monitor sites and conduct close-out visits, maintain study files, and support pre-study visits
• Coordinate site activities and liaise with vendors as assigned
• Ensure informed consent and protocol adherence
• Review CRFs and data, monitor for data quality and missing data
• Assist with training of new staff and potential local client contact
• Travel to sites domestically and internationally as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
