Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Sr. Clinical Research Associate or CRA II with at least 1+ year of on-site monitoring experience. Ideal candidates have Phase I exposure and reside in the United States.

The role focuses on monitoring, site management, and ensuring protocol compliance across trial sites. You will be responsible for site visits, data integrity, SAE reporting support, and interaction with vendors. Travel will be significant (40-50%), and the position may involve remote work options per project

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• Phase I experience preferred.
• 40-50% overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor study sites to ensure protocol compliance and data quality.
• Maintain study files and conduct site visits including initiation and close-out.
• Ensure informed consent procedures and protocol requirements are followed.
• Review CRFs and other data collection tools for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with training of new staff and co-monitoring when needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on project plans.
