Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is hiring a Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician in a fully remote role within the United States. You will support pharmacy benefit operations and deliver quality service to members, providers, and pharmacies.

You will process prior authorizations, resolve inquiries, document activity under HIPAA, and coach pharmacy technicians. Requires PTCB/CPhT or ExCPT and 2+ years of experience; full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician credential required.
• 2+ years of relevant pharmacy technician experience in managed care or PBM preferred.
• Experience with prior authorizations, claims, and pharmacy terminology.
• Experience training or coaching pharmacy staff preferred.
• Strong communication, research and organizational skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Process pharmacy prior authorization requests per criteria and SLAs.
• Research and resolve member/provider/pharmacy inquiries with follow-up.
• Document calls and activity while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Support training and coaching of pharmacy technician team members.
• Monitor quality trends and collaborate on process improvements.
