Parnall Law Firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal for a remote role to support our New Mexico-area litigation team. The position requires active personal injury litigation experience, strong knowledge of court rules, and proficiency with e-filing and litigation management software.

Exceptional communication and organization are essential, with a client-first mindset and willingness to travel when needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
• Active litigation stage experience required; pre-litigation backgrounds not considered
• Strong working knowledge of state, local, and federal court rules
• Experience with e-filing, legal documentation, and litigation management software
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong time-management instincts
• Empathy for injured clients and client-first mindset
• Collaborative spirit with mentoring and motivating teammates
• Willingness to travel if a case proceeds to trial
• Ability to work during Mountain Time business hours
• Background check clearance

Responsibilities

• Attend Transition to Litigation meetings with client and Case Manager
• Speak to adjusters, defense attorneys, and others involved in litigation
• Update client with copies of relevant file materials
• Work with legal assistant to e-file and e-serve court pleadings
• Be familiar with state, local, and federal rules for every jurisdiction we practice in
• Post all costs including expected costs not invoiced yet
• Draft and serve subpoenas
• Compose discovery requests, answers and responses
• Create discovery index and maintain production tracking
• Review defendant discovery responses and transcripts for follow-up
• Set deposits and manage scheduling orders
• Prepare for trial and attend trial
