Qualifications

• Three years of payroll experience, preferably in consulting, payroll provider, or corporate payroll.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and multistate regulations.
• Experience with payroll tax forms and filings (e.g., 941, 941-X, W-2C).
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft, Paycom, Paycor, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll consulting engagements across diverse clients, industries and geographies.
• Assist in assessing and improving client payroll processes, controls and procedures.
• Perform multistate payroll compliance reviews (federal, state, local).
• Support payroll tax activities, including prep and review of forms (e.g., 941, 941-X, W-2C).
• Assist with payroll setup and configuration of earnings, deductions, and tax treatments.
• Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with employee classification reviews, wage treatment and overtime calculations.
• Research and apply payroll regulations, including reciprocity and multistate considerations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver timely, accurate work.
