Job summary

Parafin is seeking a passionate business developer to join a foundational partnerships team. You’ll define partnership motion, influence product direction, and directly impact Parafin’s growth. You’ll report to the Head of Platforms and collaborate with Product and Leadership to expand the partnership function.

You’ll hunt and close deals, shaping strategy, and building a robust partner ecosystem that helps small businesses access essential financial tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales in fintech.
• Experience selling to platforms and marketplaces with pipeline growth.
• Understanding SaaS platforms and marketplace business models.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Tech-savvy; collaborate with product/engineering to meet partner needs.
• Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous environment.
• A+ team player who helps peers succeed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect platforms to drive awareness of Parafin and embedded fintech.
• Develop outbound messaging to target accounts and present Parafin’s offering.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing using a consultative approach.
• Negotiate and structure platform agreements with GTM leadership and legal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational and strategic initiatives.
• Shape the GTM sales motion and set standards for prospects’ journey.
