Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Sr. Oracle DBA & System Administrator to design, implement, and optimize Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 databases on Exadata. You will lead automation efforts for provisioning, patching, and monitoring, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

The role requires 10+ years of hands‑on experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work across cross‑functional teams in a flexible remote work setup with occasional on‑site visits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on Oracle DBA & System Administration experience.
• Proven experience with Oracle Exadata hardware and EBS R12 support.
• Strong OEM experience and backups/recovery expertise (RMAN, Data Guard).

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 databases on Exadata.
• Install, patch, upgrade Oracle databases, Grid Infrastructure, ASM.
• Implement end‑to‑end monitoring with OEM (alerts, metrics, dashboards).
• Design and validate backup/restore procedures; run restore tests.
• Create cloning procedures for Dev/Test/DR environments; automate where possible.
• Tune databases for parallel processing and manage resource allocation.
• Configure and support routing and application servers for EBS.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning and incident resolution.
• Maintain security controls, patch cycles, and compliance.
• Provide knowledge transfer and runbooks; mentor other DBAs.
